It was worth its 3 stars. Bed was nice, like a cloud. On-site restaurant Bistro Erasme was a bonus, had dinner there.

The hotel is located close to the last metro station. I was with the hotel very positively surprised it was quiet enough.

Great stay. Perfect location for getting around and for nipping into Brussels in the evening. Very easy to drive to from the ring road.

This hotel was extremely convenient and comfortable. It happened that we were visiting Brussels at the end of a two week trip and were pretty exhausted. Hotel Erasme was far enough away from the city center not to feel hectic and was very relaxed. The free parking was great too. Hard to beat anywhere else. The metro line is just down the street and is called Metro Station Erasme (line 1B). It takes about 20 minutes to get to the city center. The price was excellent (roughly $100 in early May 2011). They upgraded us to a triple too, when they saw we had a 2-year-old, since they had the room. The included breakfast is an excellent continental European breakfast. Fresh breads, yogurt, boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, cheeses and meats, and coffee. An included breakfast is becoming harder and harder to find in Europe and is still a major selling point for our family. They were very cordial and helpful.
The hotel is not within walking distance of stores and restaurants, but they have a restaurant in the hotel, which looked fairly reasonable and smelled amazing, though we never ate there. They have a pretty comprehensive bar too (with a number of good Belgian beers). Be warned that if you plan on taking the metro, it doesn't except Euro bills (that we found at least). If you don't have a Belgian bank card, you will need change. We found this a challenge because the day pass for the metro is 4.50 euro a person, 9 euro for two adults, which we seldom carry on us in change. The hotel was very helpful in making change, but we would come with quite a bit next time so as not to be bothersome to the front desk.

The hotel pizza was tasty. Metro station is nearby.

Best location for business at the Erasmus center
-
closeliness to metro
the restaurant inside. The worse pizza I never eaten! And is run by an italian guy! Please go outside for dinner!
-
It is close to the train station
Too expensive for the quality of room, tore sheets on bed, electric heater that I switched off at night, leaving temperature cold,
-
Nice no expensive hotel
-
Good breakfast but lacks some hot dishes like a simple omlette. Staff are friendly (not all) and speak good English. Many TV channels with different languages and cultures. Very quiet and clean rooms. Quiet and safe area with clean air and greenry. One of the best value for money in Brussels.
Trip to De. Brouckere/Rogier/Centrale about 30 minutes. Should change bed sheets more frequently. Room needs a better area for luggage and clothing.
-
Attentive relation of the Hotel staff to the guest , fine breakfast, calm hotel surrounding ,closest location to the Metro station
-
Breakfast
Slow, ignorant service and attitude of barman
-
I was treated very poorly by the restaurant staff. I have never felt disrespected by a staff member at any establishment before and I felt like I was being sneered at and ignored by one of your restaurant staff on the basis alone that I was from the United States. It was very disheartening and made me feel bad and because of this I will never stay at a Hotel Erasme again and I will encourage others not to as well.
-
Its location, close to CocaCola and the metro station.
The telephone was broken, the TV was emitting a noise once switched irrespective of whether it was connected to the aerial/antenna or not. The coffeee machine was broken at breakfast. Otherwise, cheap, basic and convientiently located near CocaCola.
